GET TO KNOW LIZ

+I'm an ex-corporate American worker following my dreams oh creativity through photography.
+When I'm not taking photos, you'll find me playing with my 4-year-old daughter, traveling, or binge-watching Law and Order: SVU for the 5th time.
+I like all types of music, but especially 2000s alternative rock and todays pop hits.
+You'll find my husband and I out on the dance floor at your wedding!
+Family is a huge part of my life; I have two sisters and two brothers.

Where this all started: My Shortened Story

Growing up, I was always doing creative things and was never really all that great at sports. Throughout my later high school years, I became super interested in art, multimedia, and graphic design which led me to pursue my degree in graphic design at Rogers State University. After completing my degree, I got married to my husband, Taylor, in 2019 and I landed my first full time job at ABB Inc. working in marketing. I was only there for 1.5 short years before COVID-19 changed my entire career path. I was laid off in April of 2020 after just having my daughter 5 months prior and purchasing my husband and I's first home together. Just like many others, we were terrified about the future and how we were going to continue to make ends meet and live the way we wanted to. After I left ABB Inc., I knew that the corporate world was not for me.

When Taylor and I got married, we didn't hire a photographer, but rather had my oldest brother take our photos to save some money. He captured some of my favorite memories from our wedding, but there was a part of me that wanted a dedicated and professional photographer there as well. This is where my love for photography began. I wanted to be that photographer that I wanted at my wedding but didn't get the chance to hire. In 2020, I took a leap of faith and decided to pursue photography full time. At first, my husband and daughter were my full-time models while I practiced and gained the confidence to start booking and charging real world clients. I photographed anything and everything I could to grow my business and build my portfolio.

Fast forward to today, I have been nominated for Best of the Best Photographer in Bartlesville for for the last 3 years. In 2021, I finished in the top 5 and in 2022 and 2023, I have been a top 3 finalist! I have been in the photography industry almost 3 years and I could not be happier. Through the last 3 years, I have found my passion to be couples... especially those who are engaged! So if you're getting married anytime soon, I'M YOUR GIRL! There's just something about working and capturing photos of couples that have found love that make my job so fun and rewarding. Whether you're outgoing or more introverted, my goal is to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, while also producing amazing photos.
